Throughout the year we have calves for sale from our closed herd of beautiful, registered, A2A2, Brown Swiss cows. Our cows and calves are TB, Brucellosis, and Johnes free (tested), A2 beta casein (genetically confirmed), and come with registration and complete pedigree information. An independent vet check and health papers may be requested for any animal at the buyer’s expense (required for interstate travel).
Calves stay with their mother for 24 hours, then are raised on their own mother’s milk, given a small amount of calf starter grain when they are ready, and have access to free choice water, hay and pasture. They are handled daily, and you can choose whether you would like your calf de-horned and vaccinated, or not!
Your calf can go home with you once off of their mother’s milk, and when she’s ready to breed, and you’re both ready to learn the ropes of calving and milking, we are happy to help you along that journey too!
